Jade

The mood was stale. Her inhibitions had faltered in the musk of yesterday’s aberration. She walked along a broken fence unable to escape the moonlight. He did not love her, though she was once his muse. The non-existent pendulum shed light upon her broken flowers. Yesterday was gone; tomorrow was further away. The brisk, late autumn breeze was nothing short of brilliant as her dark coal hair wrapped between her lonely lips. Eternity was a microcosm of some absurd parallel universe. Forever was now…alone.
